Urban VIA studies - housing in Cambridge
A visual impact assessment was required for this urban setting where new flats were proposed. Our report included shadow analysis diagrams and photomontage presentations. Although architects are trained to consider visual issues, sometimes a third party evaluation including the wider setting can assist a planning application. Photomontage positions are selected to illustrate the most likely public views of a scheme.
